CLAREMONT CUSTOM-BUILT HOME

You may have heard about this house! There were several stories about it in the Daily Cal last Fall.

There was an old woman
Who lived in a shoe.
She had so many children
She didn't know what to do.
She gave them some broth
Without any bread.
She whipped them all soundly,
And sent them to bed.

Well, the Alameda County District Attorney knew exactly what to do! The old woman was charged with child abuse and sent to the California Prison for Women at Tehachapi, where she will be spending the next 5 to 10 years. The children were placed in a foster home in Clovis.

This charming custom-built shoe house is now available for rent. Features leather roof, neoprene floors, cotton laces.

$2,000. a month rent.
$5,000. deposit.
